The brief
One bathroom, two adults, and a cast iron tub that had been used exactly twice in eleven years. The constraint was simple: the household could not lose the toilet for more than a day.
We sequenced the work so the toilet came out on a Tuesday morning and went back the same afternoon, and the rest of the job happened around it.
Nine days, exactly as quoted. We had the toilet back the same day they took it out. I have never had a trade give me a date and then hit it.
