How our own billing works
Design retainer
Secures a slot on the calendar and pays for the measured survey, the drawings and the fixed proposal. Credited in full against the build.
Materials call
Paid when tile, stone, cabinetry and glass are ordered, because those go into production for you specifically.
Rough-in complete
Due after plumbing, wiring and waterproofing have passed inspection and the flood test is documented.
Tile complete
Due when the wet area and floor are set and grouted.
Final balance
Due only after we have walked the room with you and closed every item on the punch list.
No money changes hands before you have a drawing, a written scope and a fixed price.

The variables that move those numbers most are whether plumbing relocates, how complex the tile pattern is, and what we find behind the walls. Every figure on this site is illustrative.
The measuring visit and the written proposal are free. The proposal is a fixed price for the scope described, with a named contingency line for concealed conditions such as rot or failed supply lines. Nothing outside the scope is added without a signed change order.
Yes. A design retainer secures your place on the calendar and is credited against the build. The balance is split across agreed milestones, with the final payment due only after the punch list is closed.
